Project description
Software Developer - Requires a bachelor's degree in computer engineering or computer science and 12 months of experience as a software developer. Position allows telecommuting and may require intermittent domestic travel (5-10%) to provide on-site services at unanticipated client worksites throughout the U.S. Alternatively, position may require relocation to an unanticipated U.S. client site for a long-term assignment.
Salary: $110,000 USD Gross per year.
Responsibilities
Perform tests and verifications to confirm the software products comply with requirements using agriculture hardware in the loop (HIL) simulation solutions.
Design and develop embedded software solutions oriented to the agriculture sector for Luxoft client.
Perform tests and verifications to confirm the software products comply with requirements using SIL simulation solutions.
Locate key functionalities to be enhanced in the SIL software simulators used to test software solutions and provide input to responsible teams.
Report potential issues in the static analysis software and suggest the best possible route to resolve them.
Ensure high quality software products following the best practices and secure coding guidelines.
Develop and maintain unit tests to assure the new source code behaves as expected.
Contribute to software development life cycle with technical feasibility.
Skills
Must have
Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or computer science.
12 months of experience as a Software Developer, and must include:
Designing and developing embedded software.
Debugging and analyzing bug defects and issues.
Participating in code reviews to assure high quality of the code base.
Estimate work items and define the scope of the next sprint.
Use of tool/technologies: C , Qt framework, Git, GNU Core Utilities, Python/Bash scripting.
