Job: Admissions Director: The ideal candidate will be a dynamic self-starter with at least a minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an admissions director within a skilled nursing facility and will have excellent communication and organizational skills. We are a large skilled facility, with short-term rehab, and long-term care, with a strong focus on providing outstanding customer service and care.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000 - $65,000.00 per year - Salary commensurate with experience.

Hourly: 8-hour shift Monday to Friday
Admission Director Responsibilities overview but not limited to the following:
Manage Referrals from all referral sources. I.e. Hospitals, Faxes, Telephone, Walk-Ins. Obtains referral information from telephone and walk-in inquiries.
Clinical and financial review of all referrals. Knowledgeable reading referrals, running financial benefits, and obtaining prior insurance authorizations.
Obtains family commitment to tour the facility on 80% of viable referrals. Conducts facility tours with families to ensure their commitment.
Conducts room readiness, obtain signatures of admissions agreements, and explain admission process and policies to residents/patients and their families.
Ensures a smooth transition is achieved and that all paperwork is complete upon admission. -
Monitors and updates facility personnel on pending referrals, admissions, and follow-up needed to solidify admission to facility.
Works closely with the Marketing Director in communicating the status of any referral source and/or issues that arise during the referral process.
Develop relationships with referral sources.
Admissions Director qualifications Two to three years’ experience with the admissions process at a SNF, subacute, rehab, or other health care facility. - Excellent organizational skills with a detailed orientation towards documentation and follow-up. - Professional telephone skills with the ability to handle referral calls effectively and efficiently, meeting the needs of the referral sources and families. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Computer experience using a marketing information system. - Knowledge of managed care industry preferred Customer Service: - Presents professional image to consumers through dress, behavior and speech. - Adheres to Company standards for resolving consumer concerns. - Ensures that all patient/resident rights are protected.
