DRIVER ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicates and coordinates transportation of residents with the Facility Services Administrative Assistant.
- Transports residents to destination in a safe and timely manner. The return transport will be arranged to prevent any confusion as to time and destination of return.
- Coordinates with other staff to provide transportation for Activity Events to and from agreed destinations.
- Performs Non-Resident trips to the bank, post office, Church Headquarters, and other destinations as required.
- Coordinates the use of Rancho Center vehicles.
- Performs preventive maintenance and vehicle checks on Rosewood Center vehicles.
- Greet people as they come into the office and direct them as appropriate.
- Maintain regular, reliable, and consistent attendance at the worksite as directed by supervisor.
- Adheres to the provisions of Rancho Rehab Ethical Standards, Guidelines/Compliance Plan, and exemplifies high ethical standards in all activities and interactions.
- Complies with all provisions of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
- Ensures that the Transportation Department maintains compliance with all federal and state regulatory and licensure requirements.
- Must possess a high degree of interpersonal relations skills and capability of relating to a variety of people and personalities. Considerable initiative and judgment is also required.
- Ability to read, write, and follow verbal directions.
- Must have Class-E license.
- Candidate must be CPR certified
