Luxor Staffing is hiring for Safety Coordinator from $22 per hour with 1st shift available. Weekly pay, possible overtime, incentive and bonus programs, optional direct deposit, benefits from day 1 on the job and much more!
Work schedule: 6am-4:30pm
Responsibilities
- Advise on provisions to minimize safety risks
- Coordinate the safety and security programs to promote and ensure a safe working environment.
- Develop and enforce OSH policies (e.g. accident reporting process)
- Direct accident investigation procedures
- Evaluates the effectiveness of safety and security programs.
- Organize and conduct OSH training plans
- Collaborate with managers to monitor compliance and identify safety issues
- Intervene in unsafe activities or operations
- Liaise with and report to official regulatory bodies on OSH matters
- Review current safety training and recommends revisions, improvements, and updates.
Skills
- OSHA Certification is preferred, but not required.
- Must be able to conduct safety meetings
- Must have experience as safety coordinator
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- Proven experience as safety coordinator or similar
- In-depth knowledge of OSH guidelines and practices
- Experience in reporting and developing policies
