Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. The FNP will provide comprehensive care to patients across various settings, including clinics and senior care facilities. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospice palliative medicine, working with individuals with developmental disabilities, and possess strong clinical skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide primary care services, including diagnosis and management of acute and chronic illnesses.
- Perform procedures such as venipuncture, suturing, and other necessary clinical tasks.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure adherence to treatment plans.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of health conditions.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with ICD-9 coding standards.
- Stay updated on best practices in family medicine, gastroenterology, hospice palliative care, and workers' compensation law.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care services.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience in hospice palliative medicine and senior care preferred.
- Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Proficiency in venipuncture and suturing techniques.
- Familiarity with gastroenterology practices is advantageous.
- Understanding of workers' compensation law is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: $51.71 - $62.27 per hour
