JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a talented and motivated Video Editor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all industry-standard video editing software and have a solid understanding of video production from start to finish. Experience with photography and photo editing is a plus.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished video content that aligns with our brand standards.
- Work closely with the production team to understand project goals and deliverables.
- Use advanced techniques in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro and DaVinci Resolve to create dynamic and engaging videos.
- Assist in video shoots, ensuring high-quality footage is captured.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and software updates.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines (sometimes 24-hr turnaround times will be required).
- Basic knowledge of photography and editing photos using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and Capture One (is a plus).
- Participate and contribute ideas and strategies during creative brainstorm sessions.
- Maintain our in-house studio and make sure it is kept up to standard.
- Maintain all production equipment to make sure that it stays organized and is properly stored after a production.
- Capture social media content for local and travel events.
