DEMENTIA EXPERIENCE A MUST!!
Overview:
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as In-Home Caregivers. As a caregiver, you will provide essential assistance to individuals in the comfort of their own homes.
Duties:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Help with meal preparation and medication reminders
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Monitor and report changes in client's health or behavior
-May be required to transport clients to appointments or outings
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields required
- Knowledge of hospital medicine, geriatrics, PICU, or medical-surgical care is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Caregiver certification(s) are a plus!! (CNA, HHA, PCA, etc)
Strict Policies:
- Must be engaging, interactive & present with the client. No phone use.
- No headsets or earbuds in while with the client.
- Must dress & present yourself professionally.
