Civil Project Engineer II
Location : Davenport, IA
Years of Experience : 5-10 Years
Role Overview :
Our client, a leading Civil and MEP engineering firm, is seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer to join their team in Davenport, IA. This role focuses on land development for a diverse client base, including K-12 and higher education, commercial, restaurant, office, municipal, park district, historic preservation and infrastructure improvement projects across the United States.
Key Responsibilities :
- Apply civil engineering principles, methods, and techniques to land development projects, including drainage, stormwater systems, water systems, sanitary sewer systems, parking, and roadways.
- Utilize Civil 3D to prepare exhibits and construction documents.
- Use stormwater management and storm sewer software for design and permitting.
- Review regulations and standards for project design and permitting.
- Analyze reports, maps, drawings, and geological data for project planning and design.
- Make independent decisions on engineering problems and methods.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of engineering design, reports, and plans, adhering to budgets, schedules, and client standards.
- Perform site investigations and construction observation.
