The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing our manufacturing supply chain, from raw materials to finished goods to our customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in the company, at sites, and in the factory.
- Leading logistics services sourcing and carrier relations.
- Maintaining required quantity of supplies and materials to optimize production.
- Negotiating prices for raw material and delivery with suppliers, vendors, and/or shipping companies.
- Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field required; master's degree preferred.
- Three years of experience as a supervisor, manager, or similar relevant position required.
- Five year's of previous experience working in logistics/supply chain/transportation function within the manufacturing environment with a comprehensive knowledge of logistics processes.
- High degree of knowledge and understanding of a variety of manufacturing & glass processes and components within supply chain management.
Work Environment
- 50% Production Floor (PPE required) - This role requires regular engagement on the production floor to monitor inventory, coordinate deliveries, and address supply chain issues in real-time.
- 50% office duties include forecasting, data analysis, and administrative tasks such as documentation and reporting.
