This position will split time between our office in Maplewood, MO, and our client's office in Collinsville, IL.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Coordinate upgrades, rebuilds, or new designs of transmission or distribution lines
- Support the production of overhead transmission and distribution line designs
- Participate in field surveys, evaluate structure strengths, and ensure compliance with NESC and client electrical clearances
- Assist in preparing construction packages and responding to construction inquiries
- Perform other duties as assigned with a willingness to adapt as needed
- Travel up to 25%
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
- 0-1 years of experience in power line design is preferred
- Passed F.E. Exam (Engineer-In-Training) or planning to obtain
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus
- Valid driver’s license for multi-state travel
