Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Education - Master's Degree in a related field from an accredited institution is required; Doctorate Degree is preferred.
- Experience - Ten (10) years related administrative experience required preferably in an institution of higher education; college teaching experience is preferred.
- Skills - Knowledge of current issues and trends in student development especially technological developments, community education and accreditation standards; demonstrated success in being a persuasive, effective, and politically sophisticated advocate for the student development division; demonstrated ability to work within the community to build strong relationships; strong understanding of the mission, goals and functions of student development as they relate to the College's mission; demonstrated commitment to promoting and supporting the highest standards for student-centered life and learning programs, research and participation in public service programs; experience fostering a climate of intellectual diversity, debate and inquiry among staff and students; exceptional oral and written communication skills; demonstrated commitment to assessment and continuous improvement and strategic planning.
Participate in the development and the implementation of Strategic and Annual Plans to guide student enrollment which includes all aspects of recruitment and registration of new and returning students; develop and implement recruitment and enrollment strategies to attract new target markets as well as underrepresented populations; oversee the Enrollment Management and Student Success Division of the College including Admissions, Registrar, Financial Aid, Counseling and Student Support Services, Career Services, KEYS Program, Early College and all related functions; oversee financial management for the Student Success division and allocate its resources to support the College's Strategic and Annual plans; responsible for the assessment of outcomes for the Enrollment Management and Student Success division and using the data gleaned from the assessment to make changes; develop and revise policies and procedures for the Enrollment Management and Student Success division; utilize the standard application and enrollment reports to develop and implement recruitment and enrollment strategies for the short-term and analyze trends for long-term decision making and planning; cultivate and strengthen professional and community relationships that enhance the visibility and effectiveness of the College; oversees grant funded programs that relate to College programs currently being provided or that may become available in the future; represent the College at conferences, workshops, and other programs relevant to enrollment management in a manner consistent with College policy and budget; serve on selected committees and advisory boards; maintain an awareness of all current and pending regulations concerning higher education administration; interpret regulations to determine what processes and changes need to be made at the institution concerning financial aid, and records & registration; correspond with the Federal and State Department of Education on regulations that may affect students and the institution; provide leadership in the implementation of various technologies to improve application, records, and tracking systems, communications management and workflow processing; cultivate a positive and responsive environment for staff and students to grow and develop their strengths in the area of enrollment and student services; supervises staff, assigns work and work schedules, adjusts priorities, has final authority on approval/disapproval of leave, conducts performance evaluation of staff makes recommendations for hiring and/or termination and problem resolution.
Entry Salary: $105,668.10Standard Work Week: 35 hours
