Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000, depending on experience, plus bonuses.
Responsibilities:
Resident Relations:
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with residents, addressing their concerns, inquiries, and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Implement strategies to ensure resident retention and satisfaction, such as organizing events, fostering a sense of community, and addressing tenant needs.
  • Rent Collection and Financial Management
  • Manage day-to-day operations focusing on occupancy, collections, and budgets.
  • Assist residents in understanding their rental obligations and offer support for financial management.
  • Monitor and manage the property's budget, ensuring expenses are within approved limits.
  • Collaborate with the accounting and finance departments to ensure accurate recordkeeping and financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of housing voucher program.
Maintenance and Repairs:
  • Coordinate and oversee maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolution of issues.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly.
  • Collaborate with maintenance team, contractors, and vendors to obtain competitive bids and select reliable service providers.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities, expenses, and warranties.
Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal housing regulations, including fair housing laws and low-income housing guidelines.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure the property's policies and procedures align with the requirements.
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of required reports, documentation, and certifications.
Leadership and Management:
  • Coach, lead and motivate the performance of on-site team.
  • Oversee the lease application process, including screening prospective tenants, conducting background checks, and verifying income eligibility.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in Property Management.
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations; knowledge of fair housing laws and tenant rights.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with tenants, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Aptitude for identifying and resolving issues related to tenant concerns, property maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Basic knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, and rent collection procedures.
  • Competence is using property management software, spreadsheets, and other relevant tools for documentation and reporting.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • $60,000 - $70,000 salary, depending on experience, plus bonuses and affordable benefits.
