What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Dental Hygienist position at LVDA?
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate to join our dynamic team either FULL TIME (Monday to Thursday) or PART TIME (Monday to Wednesday).
Position Overview :
The ideal candidate is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care, possesses excellent communication skills, and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
Hourly rate varies based on experience.
Responsibilities :
Perform dental cleanings and screenings to assess patients' oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Take dental X-rays as required.
Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants.
Conduct thorough periodontal assessments and implement appropriate treatment plans.
Collaborate with dentists and other team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Assist with scheduling patients’ next appointments and follow-ups.
Qualifications :
Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Georgia.
CPR certification.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Proficiency in using dental software (Dentrix) and digital X-ray technology.
Experience :
Experience with Dentrix is a plus.
We are a small dental office located near Wellstar Hospital.
