Architect

Role Overview:

• Apply advanced design concepts across various projects.
• Manage and guide our client's architectural design teams.
• Investigate, evaluate, and recommend technical design solutions.
• Report to a Project Manager or Principal.
• Work independently on complex small to moderate-size projects.

Qualifications:

• Professional degree in architecture with 6 years of experience.
• Professional licensure in New York.
• K-12 experience.
• Proficiency in Revit, Microsoft Office, InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and other 3D tools.
• Knowledge of codes, standards, and project planning.
• Strong interpersonal skills for client and team communication.
• Understanding of construction methods and sustainable design.
• LEED and WELL accreditation are a plus.

Core Duties:

• Coordinate architectural work and manage team tasks.
• Participate in client meetings throughout design and construction phases.
• Conduct design and contract document sessions.
• Write and edit architectural specifications.
• Ensure design quality control with Project Managers.
• Research design codes and regulations.
• Submit documents for AHJ approval, bidding, and construction.
• Engage in construction administration tasks.
• Promote our client's brand regionally.
