Job Description :
Position Overview : They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Design Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 2 years of experience in single-family residential projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil design and a passion for contributing to the development of residential communities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in the design and development of single-family residential projects, including site layout, grading, drainage, and utility design.
- Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, senior engineers, and other team members to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
- Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design software to create detailed engineering drawings and models.
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to support stormwater management design.
- Coordinate with local municipalities, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
- Provide technical support during the construction phase, including responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals.
