Responsibilities:
- Management: Oversee and assign workload, recruit and evaluate staff, plan resources, and assign project phases.
- Technical Management: Create and monitor design standards, review specifications, plan drawings, coordinate technical developments, and approve design changes.
- Manufacturing Support: Provide support for equipment testing and pre-commissioning, and instruct shop personnel.
- Design: Analyze data for component selection and prepare process documentation.
- Customer Support: Troubleshoot and support installed equipment.
- Sales Support: Maintain technical documentation, review proposals, estimate labor, and provide feedback on scope and costs.
Requirements:
Education: BSEE in Electro-Mechanical Design Engineering.
Experience:
5 years in Controls Engineering and staff management.
7 years in manufacturing (preferred).
Technical Skills:
Industrial electrical design, PLC programming, HMI software design, industrial networking, MCC configuration, Closed-Loop Servo control.
Siemens programming (preferred).
Proficiency in AutoCAD 2012 and Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, motion, and control components.
Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics.
Industry Knowledge: Experience with panel handling, wood products, and/or plastic composites manufacturing equipment (preferred).
Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to handle multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
Professionalism: Self-motivated, minimal supervision, strong leadership, and ethical standards.
Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
