Are you a visionary leader ready to build and grow a Land Development Group within a dynamic and forward-thinking company? This firm is seeking a Seller-Doer Practice Builder to spearhead the development of their civil engineering and land development group.

They are a highly regarded firm with 250 passionate professionals dedicated to delivering innovative design solutions. Our portfolio features an exciting range of projects that inspire and shape the built environment.

As the Director of Land Development Practice , you will :

  • Establish and grow our civil engineering land development group from the ground up.
  • Collaborate closely with the COO, reporting directly to them, to align group strategies with company goals.
  • Drive business development by identifying opportunities, building relationships, and securing new projects.
  • Lead a talented team to deliver innovative, high-quality land development projects.
  • Develop and implement long-term growth strategies, ensuring the group’s success and sustainability.
  • Be a key part of succession planning, with the potential for upward mobility within the company.

  • A senior-level professional with a strong background in landscape architecture, civil engineering, or land development.
  • A proven track record as a seller-doer, combining technical expertise with business development acumen.
  • Leadership experience and the ability to inspire, mentor, and grow a team.
  • Someone who can build client relationships and bring in work, although bringing an existing portfolio is not required.
  • Passion for innovative design and a diverse portfolio of project types.
  • A collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset, aligned with our values and commitment to remaining independent.
