As the Director of Water/Wastewater, you will oversee strategic and operational initiatives for the Water/Wastewater Division, ensuring the successful delivery of projects and expansion of the firm's presence in Phoenix. This leadership role combines technical expertise, team management, and client relationship-building to advance the firm's mission and growth goals.
- Direct the growth and development of the water/wastewater practice within the Arizona region.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring technical accuracy, budget control, and timely delivery.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for new work and partnerships.
- Lead and mentor staff, fostering professional development and a culture of collaboration.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align regional objectives with corporate strategy.
- Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and Maryland-specific regulations to maintain a competitive edge.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or a related Engineering discipline (Master's preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in AZ or the ability to obtain one within six months.
- 10 years of progressive experience in water/wastewater engineering, with a focus on municipal infrastructure.
- Proven leadership skills, including managing teams, projects, and client relationships.
- Strong understanding of Maryland-specific water/wastewater regulations and requirements.
