Job Summary
We are seeking an Electrical Control Systems Engineer to design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems and components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming languages such as Java and Python, as well as experience with industrial control systems (PLCs, SCADA, HMI).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems and components
- Program and configure industrial control systems (PLCs, SCADA, HMI)
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and internal staff
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to control systems
- Develop and implement software solutions using Java, Python, and other programming languages
- Utilize MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server for database management
- Assist in UI and web development as needed
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Proficiency in Java, Python, and other programming languages
- Knowledge of MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server
- Familiarity with PPython, Jython, and Java
- UI and web development experience is a plus
- Knowledge of industrial control systems (PLCs, SCADA, HMI) preferred, but can be taught on the job
- Ability to self-teach and be self-motivated
- Relevant experience in electrical engineering, particularly in control systems
