Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: Tampa, Florida

Salary: $100,000 - $140,000

Position Overview: The Senior Electrical Engineer will design complex electrical systems, including master system plans, power systems, protection and generation models, facility power systems, and sustainability/renewable energy systems. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulations, performing power system studies, and updating design requirements as needed.

Responsibilities

• Create designs for various electrical systems to meet client project requirements.
• Review and sign off on designs for regulatory compliance.
• Conduct power system studies and electrical calculations.
• Perform site reviews to ensure design alignment with location specifications.
• Develop technical documentation and white papers.
• Collaborate with sales staff to create and review proposals.
• Meet with clients to discuss current and future design needs.
• Attend conferences to enhance firm visibility.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
• Supervise junior engineers on project work.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related discipline.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license.
• 10 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Skills and Abilities

• Expert knowledge of CADD 3D and 4D software and Revit
• Expert knowledge of engineering design principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft business software (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Expert knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations.
