What are the responsibilities and job description for the Superintendent - Heavy Civil/Wastewater position at LVI Associates?
A reputable heavy civil General Contractor is seeking a talented Superintendent in the Denver Metro area for several upcoming projects. This contractor primarily focuses on concrete structures, heavy civil, and wastewater systems so the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in structural concrete, excavation, and wastewater.
Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000
Responsibilities:
- Supervises, directs, trains, and mentors the project team, including direct and indirect reports.
- Effectively communicates with trades and ensures that performance, productivity, quality, and safety requirements are met.
- Consistently collaborates with project manager and project team.
- Proactively identifies, manages, and resolves potential problems, work conflicts, and/or schedule challenges.
- Visualizes and conveys vision of an entire project, identifies, and drives the project schedule's critical path.
- Oversees and manages the project plan and schedule and ensures compliance with budget and quality.
- Reviews and understands the contract and subcontracts and develops a plan that identifies and mitigates risks and maximizes opportunities to ensure that all financial targets, including budgets, forecasts, and profitability levels are met.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 8-10 years field supervision experience
- Heavy Civil, Concrete Structures, Wastewater Systems, Wet Utility project experience
- Field Experience preferred
