Water Resource Project Manager

Project Management

• Oversee all phases of water resource projects, from initial planning to final delivery.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure successful completion.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.

Technical Leadership

• Lead the design and implementation of water resource systems, including stormwater, flood control, and watershed management projects.
• Provide technical guidance to engineering teams and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, permitting, and feasibility studies.

Client Engagement and Business Development

• Identify and pursue new project opportunities in water resources engineering.
• Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and scope-of-work documents for clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and exceptional service delivery.

Team Collaboration

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including environmental scientists, civil engineers, and surveyors.
• Mentor and support junior engineers in their professional development.
  

• Strong understanding of hydrology, hydraulics, and water resource engineering principles.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in preparing technical reports, permit applications, and engineering drawings.
  

• Hydrologic and Hydraulic Modeling: HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, EPA SWMM
• Design Tools: AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS
• Project Management Software: Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar
  

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in water resource engineering, with demonstrated project management expertise.
