Project Manager - Water and Wastewater Infrastructure
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Overview:
Our client is a leading environmental engineering firm specializing in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager with minimum 6 years of experience to lead the delivery of pipeline and pump station infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be a strategic, action-oriented leader who plays a key role in managing, planning, and delivering high-quality infrastructure projects from conception through completion.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the planning, design, and execution of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including pipelines and pump stations.
Oversee the engineering planning and design processes, ensuring that project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Prepare and review detailed reports, technical memoranda, and electronic deliverables.
Develop plans, specifications, and cost estimates for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
Lead project teams, coordinating with engineers and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
Conduct system modeling, permitting, and alternative analysis to ensure projects meet regulatory requirements and client needs.
Ensure successful project delivery while managing client relationships and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
Provide engineering services during construction and participate in field activities as necessary.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
6 years of directly relevant experience in water and wastewater infrastructure engineering.
Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in good standing.
Proven experience leading water and wastewater infrastructure projects, from planning through construction.
Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
Expertise in engineering principles, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with clients and project teams, driving positive outcomes and maintaining strong relationships.
Highly motivated, self-directed, and professional.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and engineering-related software tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
