Position available for a utility estimator experienced with sanitary sewer, storm drainage and water distribution. Perform takeoffs, obtain material pricing and formulate bid proposals. Prepare As-Built plans.
Work with owner scheduling material production and deliveries.
Must have experience with new development housing projects.
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH READING PLANS AND DETAILS. MUST BE ABLE TO READ AND UNDERSTAND ENGINEERING DESIGN DRAWINGS AND IDENTIFY THE FOLLOWING: SANITARY SEWER LINES, DIFFERENT SIZES, MANHOLES AND LATERALS - STORM DRAINAGE PIPE LINES, DIFFERENT SIZES ON PIPE AND MATERIAL, INLETS, MANHOLES, HEADWALLS - WATER MAIN LINES, DIFFERENT SIZES AND MATERIALS, WATER SERVICES. MUST BE EXPERIENCE WITH QUANTITY TAKE OFFS IDENTIFYING PIPE DEPTHS, STRUCTURE DEPTHS.
Must have knowledge of Excel, Word, Bluebeam and other programs.
