Barista/Project Support Specialist
LWood Media Group is seeking a highly motivated and versatile individual to fill a dual role as a Barista and Project Support Specialist. This unique position offers the opportunity to contribute to both the creative marketing side of our business and the vibrant atmosphere of our employee café, Shaken & Stirred. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills, a passion for social media, and a knack for customer service.
Responsibilities:
Project Support (60%):
- Manage and maintain client social media accounts across various platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn).
- Create engaging and visually appealing graphics using Adobe Express.
- Develop and schedule social media content calendars.
- Monitor social media trends and competitor activity.
- Respond to client inquiries and comments on social media platforms.
- Provide basic technical support via phone and email.
- Assist with other project-related tasks as needed.
Barista/Café (40%):
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso drinks, lattes, cappuccinos, and teas.
- Operate the espresso machine and other café equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service to employees and guests.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions, including operating the cash register and balancing the till.
- Stock and replenish café supplies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in social media management, including content creation and scheduling.
- Proficiency in Adobe Express or similar graphic design software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic barista experience preferred, but not required (training will be provided).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:15 PM.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $9.00 - $10.50 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
