Job Title: Specialist, Domestic Logistics and Distribution
Promote and assist the continued build-out of domestic logistics and distribution functions for a private-equity-backed wine and spirits business with an impressive growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate and maintain effective communication with domestic suppliers, trucking companies, and warehouse partners on a day-to-day basis.
- Oversee and monitor the entire domestic logistics process; from order collection to delivery.
- Ensure accurate and timely domestic order collection to meet strict delivery timelines and maintain a 95% or higher on-time delivery rate.
- Address and resolve complaints and issues promptly, aiming to enhance customer satisfaction.
Support to Logistics Team
- Assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with 3PL partners.
- Support the implementation of logistics strategies to align with company goals and market dynamics.
- Help establish clear communication channels and KPIs with regular updates and feedback sessions.
- Communicate and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment and delivery.
- Offer comprehensive support to the operations and logistics teams as required.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in a logistics and distribution business with at least $50mm of revenue.
- 2 years of experience in logistics in an import and distribution business, CPG retail sales, or a related operational business.
- Experience helping a company achieve significant growth.
- Strong understanding of distribution principles and US supply chain dynamics.
- Experience in optimizing the use of systems to enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly NAV) or similar large/complex systems such as SAP is a plus.
- Able to thrive in an agile and results-oriented environment.
