State Solutions Manager Location: Fully Remote within the USA Job Overview: The State Solutions Manager will support a team of experienced professionals who serve as the Lexia sales team’s liaisons to state departments of education. This role will help design and execute strategic plans intended to achieve Lexia’s state level bookings targets for professional learning solutions. Anticipation and identification of educational challenges and opportunities is critical. We are looking for someone who has a positive can-do attitude, highly motivated to learn, and a creative thinker that can provide practical approaches to support a quickly changing organization. This is a home office position that can be located anywhere in the US. Job Responsibilities: Support cross-functional teams to achieve state level bookings targets. Collaborate with Sales and internal divisions to develop strategic plans and a State Solutions approach. Support team members in their efforts to cultivate relationships with key state officials. Play an integral role in conference strategy. Support government relations work with elected officials. Represent Lexia Learning at conference and partner events. Assist in development of messaging and positioning. 60% travel Job Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required. Advanced Degree in Education or Policy preferred. Knowledge and expertise in Education policy and state level procurement practices. Knowledge of the Science of Reading. Ability to travel frequently (60% ) Sales experience preferred. Experience and proven ability to work and thrive in a cross-functional role, with success in aligning goals and priorities, and balancing competing interests and priorities. Proven organization, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills. Confidence and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment. Good customer focus, attitude and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
