They must also be reliable and punctual as they play a key role in the function of the primary school. Additionally, patience and understanding are crucial when working with young children. The assistant must demonstrate flexibility in their schedule to accommodate occasional unexpected circumstances and may be required to attend after school meetings as needed.
The Primary and After School Assistant main responsibilities are as defined as ensuring the students’ safety at all times and enforcing rules and regulations. Depending on the daily needs of the primary school, they may be reassigned to a different class/duty for a short or longer period of time.
Team spirit is key, as the Primary and After School Assistant works as a team with the teachers, the administration, and the other assistants. Primary and After School Assistant need to use open and honest communication to ensure a healthy working team. The ability to get along with diverse personalities is a necessary skill. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Unless otherwise specified, all duties must be performed in person, on campus, Monday through Friday, from 10 AM to 6 PM. Work schedule is based on students' schedule and may be adjusted from time to time by the Lycée in according to its needs.

Primary Assistant Duties :
- Help to supervise students during the school day (i.e. recess, lunchtime, physical education, etc...).
- During lunch time in classrooms or cafeteria: prepare table settings, help to serve food, to clean/sanitize, monitor children's safety, promote healthy eating habits and manners, and manage supplies for lunch.
- Help children gain autonomy with all daily activities (i.e. putting coats on, etc...).
- Help children learn the school and classroom rules and how to get along with others.
- Report incidents to teachers, and directors if needed. The teachers/director will relay information to the

Salary : $42,607 - $50,418
