Shop Operations Manager

LYCON Inc. is a family owned and operated ready mix concrete, aggregate and building materials company with 32 locations serving Wisconsin. We are committed to providing quality products and services to our customers. We currently have an opening for a Shop Manager in Green Bay, WI.

Essential Functions:

• Organize, plan, assign, schedule and supervise work of personnel involved in inspection, repair, maintenance, and service of heavy duty equipment including diagnostics and after treatment systems.
• Determine type and extent of repairs required, and schedule repair of components, considering time requirements and vehicle downtime
• Provide service, maintenance, and repair of heavy duty equipment
• Maintain vehicle and equipment records
• Monitor and control supplies and parts
• Supervise, train and evaluate maintenance personnel
• Knowledge of equipment, tools, and materials used in vehicle and equipment maintenance activities and services
• Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
• Effectively utilizing computer software

Minimum Qualifications:

• Familiar with DOT regulations
• Experience performing mechanic work
• Minimum of one year in a leadership role

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
