Psychiatric Rehabilitation Service Aide (PRSA) Duties:
- As a psychiatric rehabilitation service aide you will be responsible for resident psychosocial rehabilitation.
- You will participate in new residents’ orientation to the facility, sharing significant information with the supervisor.
- You will participate in the inspection and review of residents and their rooms.
- You will foster personal growth and resolve resident concerns.
Psychiatric Rehabilitation Service Aide (PRSA) Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- No history of abuse/neglect, or misappropriation of property.
- Demonstrated sensitivity, ability and skills in working with and understanding the needs of the residents, family members, staff members and personnel from community agencies.
- Demonstrated familiarity and knowledge of currents trends in the rehabilitation of the mentally ill.
