TRAVEL : Approximately 0-15%

Position Overview : The HR Director oversees the administration of our HRIS system including processing our weekly payroll, onboarding new employees, terminating employees, updating personnel records, benefits administration, and recruiting functions within the platform. This position is also responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, & local laws and updating senior leadership on new developments. Additional responsibilities include administration of our annual benefits open enrollment campaign, as well as supporting managers and employees with HR, Payroll, and employee relations concerns.
Key Competencies :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 7 years of progressive experience working in the HR field
- Experience in payroll processing
- Experience in benefits administration
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance regulations
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms
- Good interpersonal skills including the ability to interface with staff at all levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to identify areas of opportunity for improvement and present to Executive Management
