Lyfe Law, LLP is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Hearing Representative to join our team in the Tarzana location The ideal candidate will advocate for injured workers, representing them at hearings and ensuring their rights are upheld throughout the claims process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients at Workers' Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB) hearings.
- Prepare and present cases, including gathering evidence, drafting legal documents, and developing effective arguments.
- Negotiate settlements between injured workers and insurance companies to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of California workers' compensation laws and regulations.
- Provide clients with guidance on their rights and the workers’ compensation process.
- Collaborate with medical experts, attorneys, and other professionals as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; law degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in workers' compensation or related legal field.
- Strong understanding of California workers' compensation laws and procedures.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
