Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist(RPSGT) at our associated offices, working as a contractor in private medical practices. The role is located in between 2 offices run by the same practice, located in Germantown, MD and Rockville, MD. The Registered Polysomnographic Technologist will be responsible for conducting polysomnographic tests, diagnosing and treating sleep disorders, and collaborating with medical professionals in sleep medicine and respiratory therapy. The work is split into 10-hour shifts, from 8pm-6am, where you may work alongside other Technologists to provide care to patients.
Expectations and position
- Must be available for 10 hours shifts, night-time
- Availability : Wednesday-Sunday( preferred )
- Friday / Saturday / Sunday availability highly preferred
- Native or bilingual English proficiency
- Valid Certification as Registered Polysomnographic Technologist(RPSGT)
- Valid Licensing to practice as a RPSGT within the state of Maryland
- Valid Certification of Basic Life Support / CPR or equivalent
- Polysomnography and Sleep Medicine skills
- Knowledge of sleep disorders and respiratory therapy
- Experience in Medicine related to sleep disorders
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team and follow protocols
