Position Summary:
Join a well-established, physician-owned pain management practice in beautiful Wilmington, NC. The practice specializes in managing a variety of chronic pain conditions, with a specific focus on back, spine, and neck pain. We are seeking an experienced PA or NP to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will have some experience in pain management. You will assist in performing various procedures and injections, contributing to the care of patients with chronic pain conditions.
Job Type:
Full-time, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with weekend call (patient phone consultations only)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive pain management services with a focus on back, spine, and neck conditions
- Assist physicians with patient assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-ups
- Perform pain management procedures such as injections and minor interventions as needed
- Communicate effectively with patients to manage chronic pain, provide patient education, and address questions or concerns
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive and patient-centered approach
- Take part in the weekend call schedule (phone consultations only)
Qualifications:
- Licensed Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of North Carolina
- Experience in pain management, orthopedics, or a related field
- Strong clinical skills, including experience in performing procedures and injections
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with the physician team
