Lyle Machinery Co. (“LMC”), headquartered in Richland, Mississippi, is a family-owned and operated heavy equipment dealer with over 60 years of experience providing quality products, service, and parts support throughout MS, AL, LA, FL, and TX. Founded and located in the heart of Mississippi, we continue to service communities all over the South.  With several locations across the South, LMC performs service and repairs, both on-site and in the field, in addition to the sales, leases and rentals of heavy and compact equipment.  

LMC currently is looking for a Product Support Sales Representative in our Columbus, MS location, to bring unmatched service and parts support to new and existing customers through their exceptional performance backed by our devoted Lyle dependability! 

Duties: 

· Proactively sell parts and service using a consultative approach with customers to identify and manage customer equipment needs

· Prepare customer agreements, and quotes for repairs and present to customers

· Effectively communicate with Sales, Service, and Parts to ensure customer satisfaction

· Provide product support to customers regarding parts, service, and preventative maintenance

· Develop effective methods to maintain and enhance customer relations and perform dispute resolutions within the scope of LMC’s Mission Statement in a professional and timely manner

· Work closely with Parts and Service Departments to efficiently and proficiently complete work orders

· Review work orders for accuracy, and assist in management of parts, labor, and other repair charges

· Maintain up to date knowledge of new products and developments relevant to the equipment and customer trends

· Maintain LMC’s competitive advantage by appropriately managing the customers’ needs

· Other work-related functions as assigned by management

Requirements

· Equipment/mechanical knowledge

· 2 to 5 years parts/sales experience

Physical: 

· Ability to see in full range color

· Ability to kneel, climb, bend, twist, lift and squat to service equipment 

· Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs

· Must be able to work in any weather environment

· Must be able to safely operate in, around, under and on top of equipment
