What are the responsibilities and job description for the Integrated Preschool Special Education Teacher position at Lynch Elementary School?
The Winchester Public Schools is seeking an Integrated Preschool Special Education Teacher to join their preschool teaching team. The preferred candidate will hold an active Massachusetts DESE Licensure for Moderate Special Needs and/or Severe Special Needs, a Masters Degree in Special Education, and have experience working with children in their early childhood years. WPS preschool is seeking a candidate that creates an inclusive learning environment for students, staff, and parents, presents with excellent written and verbal communication, values instruction driven by data, understands and applies differentiated instruction for a variety of learning profiles, is willing and able to collaborate with a clinical team, supports the progress of all skill areas for a child including, but not limited to social-emotional, communication, activities of daily living (including feeding and toileting), motor, and academic development, and has knowledge of special education documentation; IEP development, progress report writing, and assessments.
