Janitor

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness , ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, with a focus on both industrial and commercial cleaning standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to enhance the appearance and longevity of flooring surfaces.
• Ensure all restrooms are cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies regularly.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas, hallways, and entryways to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff or management to address urgent cleaning needs.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.

Experience

• Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous.
• Experience in commercial cleaning settings is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of high standards of cleanliness.
• A strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment is essential for success as a Janitor.
