We are actively seeking two detail oriented and dedicated Financial Analysts to join our accounting team in Milan, IL. Location: Milan, IL (Onsite Position)
Pay: $55,000-$90,000 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from departments.
- Maintain and balance an automated consolidation system by inputting data; scheduling required jobs; verifying data.
- Provide accounting support for mergers and acquisitions by reviewing financial information; convert data to the general ledger system; obtain supplementary information for preparing financial statements.
- Analyze current procedures and recommend changes to develop and implement best practice accounting procedures.
- Protect the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast paced environment.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- At least 1-5 years of experience in accounting or a related role.
- Experience in Public Accounting preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
