HR Specialist
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable HR Specialist to join our team in Milan, IL. This role will support a wide range of human resources functions, with a primary focus on HR administrative tasks and recruiting support. Pay: $55,000-$65,000 annually bonus eligible
Location: Milan, IL (Onsite Position)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day HR operations, including employee onboarding, offboarding, and personnel file maintenance.
- Support benefits administration, leave tracking, and compliance reporting.
- Assist with maintaining HRIS data integrity and generating reports as needed.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and procedures in a professional and timely manner.
- Support internal communications and employee engagement efforts.
- Assist with the coordination and logistics of training sessions, meetings, and employee events.
- Provide recruiting assistance as needed, particularly for high-priority roles in sales and operations.
- Partner with hiring managers to post positions, screen applicants, and schedule interviews.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in HR administration, recruiting, or a related function.
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
