Northland Services has an opening for a Rail Operations Lead (Swing shift) in Seattle, WA.

The main duties of this position are :

• Responsible for the safe and efficient rail operations either personally or through others.
• Responsible for the planning and execution of safe and efficient product transfer between truck and rail to and from AML Equipment.
• Responsible for training and implementation of defined standard operating procedures for each process.
• Communicates and coordinates with rail provider priorities for efficient inbound and outbound rail activity.
• Responsible for tracking railcar status with established tools and communicating that to interested parties.
• Provide timely update of freight systems
