Lynden Incorporated is seeking an Software Developer Intern with a passion for technology, collaboration and creative problem-solving to work as part of our SeaTac based team. You will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work closely with a mentor and management.
In addition to working on an impactful project, you will have the opportunity to engage with developers for both personal and professional development and expand your network. This is a paid internship; you will generally work 40 hours per week for a period of 17 weeks during the summer. This position is non-safety sensitive. Our internship program offers you opportunities to network and learn through :
Participating in tours at the different Lynden Operating Companies.
Informational lunches with Lynden executives including Operations, Marketing, HR,
Legal, Finance and Company Presidents.
Assisting with organizing the Lynden summer barbeque and other employee events.
Intern team building activities.

Works closely with customers and senior-level developers to understand business requirements that drive the analysis, design and development of quality / cost effective technical solutions.
Ensures delivery of high-quality software by writing clean code and utilizing unit test, continuous integration and code reviews.
Responsibilities may include participation in component and architecture design, performance monitoring and product evaluation.
Work with the software development team to meet deliverables.
You will receive guidance from a platform developer throughout the project work.
Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions. What we need from you :
Currently enrolled in a college or university program.
Knowledge and proficiency in web development technologies like Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
Basic understanding and experience with Microsoft Operating Systems.
Must be familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. What you need to know :
