What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intermediate Grade Teacher position at Lyndon Town School?
Lyndon Town School, serving children in PreK- grade 8, is seeking two teachers to join our 3rd and 4th grade team for the 2024/2025 school year. We hire dynamic, inquisitive candidates committed to collaborative teaming including a possibility of looping from 3rd to 4th grade with students. Experience with structured literacy, UFLI, workshop model, POA/PNOA, positive behavior interventions, and Responsive Classroom are a priority. Interest in project based and outdoor learning is preferred. We seek creative, passionate teachers who love children, and with their team will provide a strong foundation to our intermediate students. A sense of humor and genuine love for working with young people is a necessity. The individual will be part of a team including other grade level teachers, special educators and interventionists. The district provides mentorship and a supportive administration.
Lyndon Town School is part of the Kingdom East School District, located in the heart of a vibrant community in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. We operate seven preK-8th grade schools ranging from 60 to 500 students.
