Our client in the Chambersburg, Pennsylvania area is seeking a Warehouse Shipping Clerk to join their team. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and efficient shipping operations while maintaining inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate must be bilingual in English and Spanish, as effective communication with truck drivers, warehouse staff, and office personnel is essential. A strong understanding of Bills of Lading (BOLs) is necessary to verify that shipments are correctly prepared and dispatched. The Day-to-Day:
- Review and interpret Bills of Lading (BOLs) to ensure accurate shipment processing.
- Load and unload trailers efficiently to support warehouse operations.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and use scan guns for product receiving and tracking.
- Communicate effectively with truck drivers and the front office team to coordinate shipments.
- Ensure that all shipping and receiving processes adhere to company guidelines and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bilingual (Spanish & English) – must effectively communicate with diverse teams.
- Strong attention to detail to minimize errors in loading and inventory management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cold environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and adjust to changing priorities.
Pay Rate/Shifts:
- $19.00 /hr
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
