What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cafe Manager position at Lyngblomsten?
Lyngblomsten’s NEW Lino Lakes campus is located at the corner of Hodgson Road and County Road J, the campus will feature 20 detached rental townhomes; a multi-level senior living building with 96 independent living apartments, 35 assisted living apartments, and 17 memory care apartments; and an array of indoor and outdoor amenities, including a fitness center with warm water pool, restaurant and pub, chapel, courtyard, community garden, walking trails, and pickleball court.
Lyngblomsten is looking for a Cafe Manager with flexibility, initiative thinking, and problem-solving to help provide a positive experience by providing quality food to residents, visitors, and employees in our new campus. This position comes with a predictable schedule and great benefits in a new kitchen!
The posted pay range of this hourly position is $21 to $27. The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the production and service of food for Residents, staff, and guests.
- Ensure the quality of flavor and appearance of products produced.
- Ensure the cleaning task list is completed daily and weekly.
- Help create schedules for employees.
- Coordinates food service activities with other disciplines.
- Maintains ongoing communication with culinary support staff to keep informed of customer nutritional concerns.
- Answer calls, and receives deliveries in the absence of the Supervisor.
- They will work closely to support the Chef Director of Culinary Services.
