Role Description

This is a full-time Accounts Payable Accountant role located in Westville, NJ. The Accounts Payable Accountant will be responsible for account reconciliation, invoice processing, and handling all aspects of invoicing on-site.

Duties

• Process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Perform account reconciliation to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
• Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions and vendor communications.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts payable activities.
• Support tax-related tasks by providing necessary documentation and information for audits.
• Utilize accounting software such as Sage and Timberscan for efficient processing of transactions.
• Report to Controller for reporting and if need of assistance.
• Assist with accounts receivable tasks as needed to support overall financial operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an accounts payable or accounting role is preferred.
• Familiarity with account reconciliation processes and tax regulations is a plus.
• Experience with accounting software
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining individual accountability.
