What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wine Production Assistant position at Lynmar Estate?
Lynmar Estate, an ultra-premium Pinot Noir and Chardonnay producer, resides in the heart of the Russian River Valley. Spanning over 45 acres of estate vineyards, we cultivate mainly estate fruit, while also incorporating exceptional outside vineyards into our program.
Candidates participating in harvest will engage in all aspects of wine production, working closely with our small winemaking team. Given our outdoor setting, the ability to work effectively in varying weather conditions is crucial, accompanied by an appreciation for the stunning views of the valley.
We are currently hiring for:
- Harvest Cellar Lead – A position requiring the ability to lead cellar activities during harvest, ideally with 2-3 harvest seasons of experience and forklift experience preferred.
- Hybrid Cellar/Laboratory Role – A versatile position combining both cellar and laboratory responsibilities, well-suited for those seeking diverse daily tasks.
- Harvest Cellar Staff – Roles centered on executing safe, efficient, and enjoyable vintages from August 1 to the end of October.
A possibility exists for selected candidates to transition into full-time employment post-harvest.
