Job Description
The educator will be the primary instructional delivery person in the classroom. Student achievement and growth are primarily dependent on the work and efforts of the classroom teacher. The position is demanding, varied, and complex.
- We seek an educator who can establish and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. They should regularly engage with families and extended community members to create a collaborative learning environment that fosters equity for all learners.
- The educator will plan, develop, and execute standards-based lessons that reflect the curriculum and state's core educational standards. They should provide appropriate and effective learning experiences for students from diverse socio-economic levels and cultural backgrounds.
- We expect the educator to design and demonstrate differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all students. They should use a variety of formal and informal assessments to accurately measure and document student progress.
