We are seeking a skilled Process Control Engineer to design, implement, and optimize control systems for our manufacturing and industrial processes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in automation, instrumentation, and process optimization to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop & Maintain Control Systems: Design, program, and troubleshoot PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), DCS (Distributed Control Systems), and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.
- Process Optimization: Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
- Instrumentation & Sensors: Select, install, and calibrate sensors, transmitters, and other instrumentation for process monitoring.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect and analyze process data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaboration & Support: Work closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure optimal process performance.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure that all process control systems adhere to safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Testing & Validation: Conduct system testing, simulations, and commissioning of new automation projects.
- Training & Documentation: Provide training for operators and engineers on control systems, create technical documentation, and maintain system manuals.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- Experience: Min 3 years in process control, automation, or manufacturing environments.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.).
- Experience with DCS and SCADA systems.
- Knowledge of process instrumentation and control loops.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (MODBUS, PROFIBUS, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, teamwork, and effective communication.
