Required Skills:
- Proficient computer skills, including online applications, ZOOM, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, conflict resolution skills, and supervision skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a culturally diverse population of families.
- Ability to chair meetings, foster teamwork, delegate tasks, and create a positive team dynamic
- Certified in CPR, First Aid, ServSafe, Allergy Awareness, and Narcan Training (within 6 months of hire)
- Valid driver's license
Supervision:
- Hire, Train, Evaluate, and Recommend Termination of Direct Care Staff and Case Managers.
- Weekly supervision of all Family Shelter Case Managers in accordance with the LSA Case Management Supervision Policy.
- Monitor and evaluate personnel needs, develop and implement training as needed working in cooperation with Senior Program Director - Family Services.
- Ensure staff compliance with mandatory training requirements.
- Facilitate weekly family reviews and document as required.
- Audit all files and records for quality, completeness, and compliance with DHCD requirements and agency policy.
- Provide a formal written evaluation to all program staff annually, as specified by agency policy.
Administration:
- Prepare program data and reports for public and private funders as directed
- Attend all meetings/trainings as assigned by the Senior Program Director - Family Services.
- Facilitate monthly staff meetings
- Prepare and submit bi-weekly payroll
- Assist in monitoring and staying within approved site budget
- Responsible for monitoring ETO data quality
- Maintain accurate employee files including attendance, supervision notes, and documentation of progressive discipline.
Programmatic:
- Oversee all case management and peripheral services for 32 Family Shelter units.
- Manage the family shelter schedule to ensure 24-hour staff coverage
- Ensure that staff and shelter participants adhere to all shelter policies and safety protocols, intervening as necessary
- Ensure compliance with all contractual, licensing, and agency policies and regulations, promoting the health, safety, and well-being of all staff and residents.
- Manage and maintain the safety and cleanliness of the shelter in compliance with health, fire, and safety regulations.
- Work with the Senior Program Director - Family Services to identify and implement positive changes for the betterment of shelter and ensure staff maintain the agency standard for professional ethics, boundaries, confidentiality, and best practices.
- Maintain accurate programmatic documentation including fire drills, incident reports, shift reports, and all other documentation as required.
- Provide On-call support 24 hours a day for assigned shelter
- All other responsibilities as assigned by the Senior Program Director - Family Services.
