Job Description:
1) Inspects and tests welded parts of work in progress and of completed units for visible defects, correct dimensions, bead formation, weld penetration, and conformance with layout, blueprint, customer, and work order specifications, applying knowledge of Aerospace welding principles and metallurgical properties. Examines parts to detect flaws, such as but not limited to, cracks, cold weld, spatter, and undercuts.
2) Inspects parts for hidden cracks and pits, using borescope or penetrant inspection.
3) Performs pressure tests on parts, using testing equipment, or other post weld inspection requirements.
4) Records inspection data, completes first article inspection reports, identifies and segregates rejects/rework.
5) Will be tested to weld inspection examinations per internal and customer requirements, once trained.
6) performs other duties as assigned by management.
7) Assist with FPI to keep inspection moving throughout the day to day.

Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in weld inspection/ Aerospace Industry
- High School Diploma or GED
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
